I've learned so many fun words through playing Words With Friends! In fact, I've started integrating these new terms into everyday conversations, and it's been a blast thus far. The other day, a police officer pulled me over and asked me why I'd been driving thirty-five miles per hour over the speed limit. My Words With Friends terms came in extremely handy.
"I'm so sorry, officer. I was doing the dishes, and all of a sudden my qi got stuck in the garbage disposal. In a frantic attempt to remove my qi, I accidentally bashed my head against the kitchen cabinet and dislodged my xu. I jumped in the car and rushed to the hospital, but a ki ran into the street and got stuck to the grill of my car. At this point, I was hoping that the poor ki's life could be saved if I got to the hospital before it fell off. I'm sure you understand?"
I was surprised to find that the officer was also a Words with Friends enthusiast. "Za za za. All you pathetic pi drivers think you can bs (not a WWF word) your way out of tickets. I own three kis, and I'll be damned if I'm gonna let some reckless oy-pe-nu driver ka ka all over our roadways. The ticket is two hundred and seventy dollars, but I landed on a triple word score, so you owe me eight hundred and ten."
J Dilla is a god. He was an incredible producer for artists such as De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, and Pharcyde, and he also made his own records. Unfortunately, he passed away right after finishing his album Donuts. Below are "Lightworks," from Donuts, the Raymond Scott song he cleverly sampled to make it, two other Donuts tracks, and the great Dilla-produced Pharcyde song "Runnin'."
